Bärly® Shower and Toilet Chair
Children are filled with pride when they can take care of their
own business. The BÄRLY® shower and toilet chair from the BASICLINE
series is ideally suited for children with limited body control and
physically or mentally impaired motor skills. BÄRLY® enables or
increases self reliance when using the shower or toilet by compensating
for movement- or posture-related mechanisms that may be
impaired or nonfunctioning. Going to the potty or taking a shower is made easier
and orthopedic supports provide for proper posture.
Our goal in developing the BÄRLY® was to create high performance in an attractive form. The BÄRLY® is available in three sizes for optimal adaptation to the size of the user. The seat surface, trunk section and headrest are made of PUR foam, which is hygienic and easy to clean. The supports are anatomically shaped to provide optimal support to the trunk and hips. The integrated abductor wedge guarantees optimal leg placement for the child while using the toilet and serves simultaneously as a splash guard. Proper sitting posture is further supported by means of an adjustable-height trunk section, an individually adaptable footrest and a headrest with adjustable angle. The midsection and footrest are designed to adapt as the child’s body grows and changes.
BÄRLY® has the rough and tough constitution of a bear. The pedestal is a tubular frame with four feet and/or brake-enabled rollers. The seat surface with toilet opening and integrated abductor wedge is made of PUR, a semi-flexible integral foam with no foaming agents, which features optimal mechanical and hygienic properties, providing comfort while seated even for extended periods. BÄRLY® can be used either together with the potty or placed directly over the toilet. Potty holder and potty are included with the basic model. Available in three sizes, the mobile (with brake-enabled rollers) BÄRLY® basic model comes equipped with standard footrest and foot straps with upholstered instep, headrest, and breastbelt with deflection roller in Skai.
