The interCo company is renowned for individual rehabilitation concepts for the areas of sitting, storage and mobility. We adapt to the most differing requirements of our customers and develop individual solutions for physically restricted people.
Vision
The married couple Markwald founded the company with the vision to provide individual solutions and optimal consulting, support and care for physically impaired people. Today, the vision is found in the heads and, above all, hands, of the over 30 employees. These are the people who develop and produce innovative and trend-setting rehabilitation products and who are constantly offering the customers new services round about the subject of care.
Project
At the forefront of the company thinking of interCo is above all the constructive co-operation between the employees and the bringing together of all important decision-makers for the benefit of the patient. Our wish is to pass this very simple and yet revolutionary approach on to trading partners, specialist medical equipment dealers and cost carriers, and to live out this approach together with our customers and patients. Only in this way can optimum care of small and large patients be guaranteed.
Concept
interCo uses the "SOAP" method as the basis and central component of this co-operation. Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation and Revision is a structured planning, implementation and servicing of the care, following subjective and objective assessments of all necessities. These include clarification processes with cost carriers, an intensive dialogue with medical professionals and, of suppliers, direct dialogue with the patients and parents or carers on site. The more information we can incorporate into the planning, the better the individually-developed care and forward-leading servicing and optimisation.
Interaction
interCo continues this extensive interaction beyond the concept phase, so as to ensure that nothing stands in the way of long-term "Service to the people with people". And, in addition: interaction is so important for us that we practice even closer co-operation with the direct suppliers within the scope of a specialist trade concept. After all, in our opinion, optimum care can only be ensured if specialist trade and manufacturer work together in the interests of the patient.
Innovation
Naturally, the services to the people can only function if the products offer the best solution for the individual requirements of the patient through outstanding quality and appealing design. For interCo, benefits, functionality, suitability for everyday life, stability, durability and maximum variability are at the focal point of development work. Nevertheless, the principle of "Form follows function" is not exactly the ideal solution, because an appealing design is naturally very pleasing - for both the customer and for us. Thus it is that "Art that makes itself useful" is a traditional aspect of our product development - right down to the final detail. New, innovative solutions are constantly being found, which mean added value for the user and savings for the cost carrier.

Our passion is to help people with physical limitations and to offer them optimum care. With outstanding products, individually adapted to the needs of the patient, as well as comprehensive support and servicing in all relevant and, in part, very complex processes, we offer our customers a perspective - after all, our patients deserve rehabilitation.
